Mind, Body, and Soul

I enjoy the water and the sea

So soothing to me

The crisp clean fresh air

Cruising along without a care

One's soul sometimes needs rejuvenating you know

The land has it's own special soul

When we stop to be still

Life can balance itself again and become a thrill

You have slowed down

Created the time to look around

To see what truly matters

Sent away all the chatter

Clean and clear once again

So you are open and then

You can remember now

That is how

You move from a difficult space

To your newly created wonderful comfort place

Think about it for one moment you will realize how near

All the gifts are is that clear?

I have been trying to put back together an emotional cord that snapped last weekend during a loud, intensive exchange of words. My words were thrown out as parries to shield me and they were worthless. Withdrawal, sleep, sobbing, xanax...the defaults of fixing have only soothed over, and only a little. Your poem, Lesley, reminded me that there is a patch of ivy waiting to be pruned outside in the sunshine, albeit cool today, The thought of working in the dirt at least will get me dressed.

Yes, 'the land has its own special soul'... an offering for you from Guidance Energy: "Nature, of course, has a soul. It breathes. It gives life. It allows for the perpetuation of humanity. What animates nature, the soul of nature, is the Green Ray. The Green Ray is the animating soul of nature. It is the divine component that allows nature to do as it does in service to the species on the planet and the planet itself." Thank you Lesley for the reminder of soul in all things and it's effect in the moment...
