Today, I got a hug. Not a garden variety hug either, I got a hug from her soul... so warm, so loving... over in an instant, yet quite, quite a gift, a thank you. You see, she had been listening.

Living in the desert, literally and metaphorically, it seems there's no one to listen, that all's being wasted... such sadness... and then, such a gift. Thank you: her soul, my soul, thank you.
